There's no audio enhancements options in the settings in windows for this device, not for the output nor for the input.
#FAILED TO OPEN FOCUSRITE USB ASIO INSTALL#
I think it's required to install to get the ASIO drivers installed, though. You can install a control software but it's not a really expansive software suite, more a program to control some settings remotely. Generally question, does Equalizer APO work on the default output (3.5 inch jack(s))? There might be some antivirus/firewall app preventing Equalizer APO to work, although I don't think this is the case here.Īlright, I thought only EFX was supposed to work for win10. Perhaps a feedback of the mic part of the Scarlett? Is the echo/delay there if Equalizer APO isn't installed on this mic? So you might try the unchecking of both "Use original APO" checkboxes. But probably you end up losing sound enhancements (if the Scarlett has any). Usually I recommend to uninstall the audio driver of, in this case, Scarlett 2i2 in order to go with a default Windows audio device driver. Or better said the APO of Equalizer APO can't work together with the APO of the Scarlett. But they don't usually support the older (Windows 7) LFX/GFX.ĭoes the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 have its own software? This software might not be that compatible with Equalizer APO. Most drivers nowadays have both SFX/EFX and SFX/MFX.
Both are Windows 10 and 11 ways of doing Audio Processing Objects (APO's, say sound enhancements). If it sets itself to SFX/MFX then I guess that's fine.
